2019年6月，该所在实验室大型塑料桶、塑料盒中开展养殖白蚁巢培育鸡枞菌出菇的技术研究，实现实验室控制条件下，黑翅土白蚁配对成功率95%以上、出巢率58.1%，并于2021—2023年在东川、宜良、富民等地野外回归放养白蚁314巢，成活率达到93%。2023年7月，该所在富民县黄坡回归放养的白蚁巢有2巢长出鸡枞菌子实体。

The 2024 China-Zambia Culture and Tourism Year opening ceremony along with the Zambia Tourism Promotion was held in Beijing on Saturday. During the opening ceremony, Zambian Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba and Zambian Ambassador to China Ivan Zyuulu delivered speeches.
Through the colorful artworks and the enthusiastic singing and dancing performances at the site, artists presented the deep friendship between the two countries, while industry representatives discussed the opportunities for bilateral cooperation. (Xue Lingqiao and Wang Gaofei)
