澎湃新闻注意到，事发地距新区学校约400米，距同和小学约3.5千米。一位现场附近居民告诉澎湃新闻，9日晚，事涉大巴车直行方向，即盘香路一侧的信号灯有故障，渣土车行驶方向，即洪江路一侧的信号灯正常。另有现场车辆的行车记录显示，事发时行车记录仪所属车辆在左转道等候红灯变绿，大巴通过十字路口时，盘香路一侧的直行信号灯不亮。

The 2024 China-Zambia Culture and Tourism Year opening ceremony along with the Zambia Tourism Promotion was held in Beijing on Saturday. During the opening ceremony, Zambian Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba and Zambian Ambassador to China Ivan Zyuulu delivered speeches.
