六年内，亚吉铁路先后开通冷链运输、朝发夕至客车、东方工业园无轨站、沿线便民列车、小汽车运输专列等优质服务，运输收入年均保持39%的增幅。经过六年时间，中方已经把铁路运营维护管理经验引入非洲，在边招聘、边培训、边运营的过程中，全线火车司机、工务、机车车辆检修、电务、调度、旅客和货物运输服务以及中高层管理人才等岗位均已实现本地化。截至2023年年底，亚吉铁路本地运营专业人才已超3000人。

The 2024 China-Zambia Culture and Tourism Year opening ceremony along with the Zambia Tourism Promotion was held in Beijing on Saturday. During the opening ceremony, Zambian Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba and Zambian Ambassador to China Ivan Zyuulu delivered speeches.
Through the colorful artworks and the enthusiastic singing and dancing performances at the site, artists presented the deep friendship between the two countries, while industry representatives discussed the opportunities for bilateral cooperation. (Xue Lingqiao and Wang Gaofei)
